Here I go… I am currently sitting in the stillness of my
living room. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping. Costa Rica just won
their World Cup match (Olé olé-olé-olé Ticos! Ticos!)…
And I’m going to Israel!
I honestly cannot believe it… This day felt like
forever-and-a-year away…
While I’m worried about the unrest in the Middle East, I have
been reassured by blessings at church and all of the prayers and emails and
texts from friends and family members…
I don’t know what to expect on this trip, but I want to go
with an open mind and heart. This is a chance of a lifetime… Here I go, armed
with a small suitcase, a backpack, lots of travel advice, and forty friends
from church!
Here’s a leap of faith, and I’m ready to jump…
